NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will hold a public hearing for the
City of Mapleton on the proposed preliminary plat review as follows:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 105 North, Range 26 West,
Blue Earth County, described as:
Commencing at the West Quarter Corner of said Section 3; thence North 89 degrees 19
minutes 14 seconds East, (Minnesota County Coordinate System-Blue Earth County
Zone-1996), along the east-west centerline of said section 3, a distance of 1467.42 feet to
the point of beginning; thence continuing North 89 degrees 19 minutes 14 seconds East,
along said centerline, a distance of 834.00 feet; thence South 00 degrees 40 minutes 46
seconds East, a distance of 470.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 19 minutes 14 seconds
West, a distance of 834.00 feet; thence North 00 degrees 40 minutes 46 seconds West, a
distance of 470.00 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 9.00 acres.
The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at the Mapleton
Fire Station, 103 3rd Avenue N.E., Mapleton, MN. All people interested are invited to
attend said hearing and be heard.
